Hello! My name is Manoel Lemos.

I'm a computer engineer who fell in love with technology as a curious kid in Brazil and never stopped hacking, learning, and investing in ideas that can change the world. Today, I bridge Silicon Valley and Brazil, partnering closely with bold founders and amazing companies to build what's next.

To celebrate the International Project Management Day, I joined Ricardo Vargas and Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez for a deep dive into the world of artificial intelligence — exploring its evolution, real-world impact, and what it means for the future of project leadership.

I’ve known Manoel since university, we’ve worked together since 2008, and we’ve been partners since 2012. He is someone I deeply admire and whose opinions I always pay close attention to — dedicated, reliable, and, above all, a genuinely good person. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work alongside Manoel through the rise of major technological waves — from the Web to Mobile, Smartphones, Social Media, and SaaS.

Now, with Artificial Intelligence emerging as a force likely to be even bigger and more transformative than all of those combined, having Manoel so deeply committed to understanding this space — and being able to benefit from his insights — is incredibly valuable. His ability to decode complex trends and translate them into practical, actionable insights has always been remarkable.

Manoel is nothing short of the perfect lighthouse, guiding us through the most complex tech shifts — and the next one is a big one! It’s an immense privilege to have him as a partner, a friend, a guide and a mentor.

Manoel was one of my first investors and undoubtedly the one who supported me most during the company's toughest times. He consistently provided invaluable insights—from strategy and fundraising to product development—and remained by our side through to our exit.

He's been an essential part of Passei Direto's story.

First believer. Bold backer. Relentless builder. That's Manoel—and the best founders know it.
